Anyway, happy 24th! I was hoping we’d celebrate it with the other girls but I remembered how we celebrated it last year so the dinner wasn’t really bad.

I was going to wish for your significant other to take care of you and the babies but I realized that should be automatic and not something any of us should be wishing for. Instead, I wish that you become stronger and more resilient. I also wish that you stick to your standards, keep them high.

Stay bibo and radioactive! We miss you already. Walang attitude sa opis eh.

My mom's idea. Told her that Julian's probably not ready yet and he might take it really bad if he loses. So I refused to enter him in the tournament and didn't pay the fee.

After the Halloween party, we realized that it’s never too early to prepare for any event.  A month’s worth of planning, secret messaging, bullying, printing, cutting, editing, cajoling, hiding, printing, pasting, scurrying, etc.
Do not underestimate the power of popsicle sticks, cards, and stars!

I swear there was an R there when I left the shop. I have no idea where it went.
Ran out of bags so they improvised! Paper cups + cut outs + assorted chocolates = instant loot bags (or cups?)
The first game was supposed to be “Don’t say baby”. We cut out pins and each guest will be given one. If anyone will hear you say ‘baby’ throughout the shower, they’ll take your pin and whoever has the most number of pins will win. Unfortunately, those who decorated the place was not aware and had a different plan with the pins. They thought they were decorations.
On to the next game then; measure the belly! The winner, Ms. Jasmin! She was so happy with the prize, I swear.
We didn’t have time to take a proper group photo because everyone was so hungry way before the program started so as soon as we stepped inside, people got busy grabbing plates and getting food.



Happy birthday Andoy! We didn’t even try to pull off a surprise for you since you’ve been celebrating your birthday with us for so long, I don’t think you’ll find it amusing anymore. Thank you for the pizza!

To Miss Jamie, the Attitude Queen! We were almost convinced our act would be wasted because you decided to throw a fit minutes before the shower! Thanks to our number 1 artista, Ms. Micah! I really hope you were surprised! We got the banner wrong, but hey, it’s the thought that counts.

Thanks to the Events Team for another successful partey! Let’s bring enough utensils for everybody next time!

Nakakainis kasi lahat bida, expert, may masabi lang, puro sakay sa bandwagon, etc. Para bang ikamamatay pag hindi makapag comment o status o update ng uso? Hindi ko na nga kailangan manood ng balita (well, thank you sirang TV hindi talaga ko makakanood), baha ang Twitter at Facebook.  Mas masaklap, pag punta mo naman sa TV para sa 'tunay' na balita, madaming galing na info sa Twitter at Facebook.

Eh 'flavor of the month' si Napoles. Pasalamat sila Chito at Neri, nawala na yung spotlight sa scandal nila. Nakakatuwa naman yung rage ng mga tao sa pork barrel scam. At least kahit kunwari lang, nakakarating sa mga walang alam yung balita. Madaming sumali dun sa rally nung Monday, sangkatutak ang mga nakakatawang meme tungkol sa issue, lahat bad trip! Tapos? Yun na! Ikulong sila?

Nakakairita kasi more dakdak, reklamo, rally, against the issue pero sino ba mga binoto mo kasi? Kayo naglagay ng mga sinungaling at kurakot na yan di ba? Eh what's done is done. Nakaupo na sila! Patalsikin mo man, nagdusa na yung nagdusa dahil yung perang dapat nakatulong sa kanila eh napunta na sa bulsa ng iba.

Syempre hindi naman simple yung issue. Kumplikado hindi dahil sa dami ng involved na matataas na tao o dahil sa laki ng perang kinurakot. Kumplikado kasi dikit-dikit yung problema, mahirap solusyunan kasi iba-iba yung pinanggalingan at pinupuntahan.

Sa mga bet ang makibaka, mag-air ng opinyon nila, mag like at mag share, go lang. Ako? Magbabasa at mag-aaral. Iboboto yung tamang tao sa eleksyon. Tuturuan yung anak ko na hindi porket sikat, keri na. Magbabayad pa din ng buwis (hello, matic sa accounting ang deduction no, no choice naman talaga). Basically, wag na dumagdag sa grupo ng mga engot. Hayaan na sa iba ang spotlight pero gawin mo na lang yung part mo.

No, really. I'm curious.

I think Julian was about 3 or 4 when we had this conversation.

Last night, Julian was asking me to tell him the story of Hansel and Gretel. Instead, I asked him to tell me the story. And so he did.

We all know what happened to the two right? But not after they got saved from the big candy house!

Me: O ano nang nangyari kay Hansel at Gretel?

Julian: Pinalo sila ng daddy nila.

Me: *surprised* Bakit?

Julian: Eh kasi pumunta sila sa gubat tsaka pumunta sa bahay ng lola *referring to the witch*
