Breakfast at Jollibee (Madrigal) again only today it's very sunny and my voice escaped me while my nose is full of snot. Good thing there's WI-FI. I love WI-FI, who doesn't love WI-FI?  Decided to have a heavy breakfast so rice + egg + longganisa + coffee + peach mango pie.  This morning was  a good mix of the good and the bad:

Yes, those feet look swollen. Ewww...

Good: WI-FI.
Bad: Phone doesn't have enough battery.

Good: Perfectly cooked egg and longganisa.
Bad: Taste buds went on strike.

Good: Free newspaper.
Bad: The old man across from my seat hoarded them all.

Good: Free coffee refill.
Bad: Waited for 20 minutes for one, lady never came back.

Good: Service crew was very prompt.
Bad: Cleaned my table while I was still there.

Spicy Tuna Pasta at 80 pesos per plate

I'm not really sure if P80 was alright for this dish, I mean not too bad but not too good either. But what I really liked is that it didn't taste like sardinas poured over cooked pasta. Maybe I'll try again some other day.

For the mean time, I'm gonna try making one myself at home. Wish me luck!

Oh, and yeah, I forgot the name of the place. It was in the Sycamore building in front of Honda Alabang.

To this Muntinlupa/DLSU judoka who is very bitter in his life. FYI, I was sensei for 2 years and one of the pillars of Muntinlupa Judo Club in early 90's. I discovered your seniors namely, Darwin Nacida, Romel Vidor and Karen Ann Solomon (2005 SEAG gold). Ako ung teacher ni Karen ng basic ogoshi, why dont you ask her. Also, I was a UAAP UE women's judo coach in 2000. Siguro, kung ako ang nagturo ......sa yo ng judo, baka naging magaling ka, maybe better ang record mo nung 2009 Laos SEAG, no win ka, but bronze medal, diba? Pero alam mo, aside from 1993 SEAG gold ko, nung 1991 SEAG ko, bronze din ako, pero 2 wins, 2 losses. Round robin kami ng 5 countries. At least merong wins, mas ok yung record na un diba? Have a healthy mind, para healthy rin magisip. Umiwas sa bad influences. Para maging better ang karma mo. Dapat matuwa ka dahil nanalo ang PHI Judo team. tsk tsk tsk.....too bad of you.

I was quite sure that I'd last the night with a cup of coffee and some soda crackers so when I dropped by the grocery store, I don't know why I scooped a packet of grated cheese and a pack of instant carbonara sauce. The moment I stepped inside our house, I was so hungry that I felt like fainting! I hurriedly went to the kitchen and grabbed whatever food was there (mackarel with sotanghon c/o Tetet) and ate like I haven't eaten my whole life.

I had a plateful and still wasn't full by the time Aj arrived. I saw some pasta and decided to cook me some carbonara. Oh I'm so happy I'm an impulsive buyer.

We love pasta, me and my family, but most of us can only tolerate the red meaty sauce spaghetti. The good old Pinoy style(sweet but a bit hot, hotdog, ketchup, and heaps of grated cheese). After my Dad's birthday, my sister and I are pretty convinced that we should have Carbonara instead of the usual red meaty sauce for Christmas.
